Review/Power Outage Club (PS4)

Armistice ClubshouldBe a cool game After watching the trailer and experiencing the creepy hell,Strange things-I’m sure it will be a slam dunk. Then the rest of the game happened and I was a little disappointed when I left.

TBC is a cooperative terror game that can control the top 10 residents of American villages suffering from evil. The children disappeared, and their parents sleepwalked, making strange noises underground. Even so, nothing has been lost. A group of young people are tired of what happened in their mother village, and they want answers.

They built shops in abandoned train carriages(of course) and carried out various tasks around the village. Sleepwalking parents could not catch them. They mainly use stealth means, but when something touches the fan, they can do whatever they want. Oh, there are evil things lurking around. They will come when you go too far away. Only when you close your eyes can you see it. Alas.

When the evil thing(The Shape) comes to you, it will absorb your cognitive reasoning and make you like an adult sleepwalker until someone saves you. It’s a pity that you played alone, because no one came to save you. In team games, it is also a shame to work with random players who are not interested in you.

The task you assign can be very simple. Like tracking blood or anything else. You often wander around, or investigate what is happening underground(called a maze). Sounds good. It seems that the problem starts here.

First, it didn’t keep up with the slow pace of the opening. If I do this, I will be more happy and praise the quality of the game. At the beginning of the cooperation, you lost some tension.

The biggest problem can be said to be the repeatability of the task. “Can you post job posters for the club several times and avoid sleepwalking parents as much as possible?” How many times can I chase them in order not to make “modeling” boring?

In a word, the biggest impression I got in the game was that it was very interesting in a short time, but I didn’t want to play all day. It seems that I am worried because I don’t know what kind of game I want. Nervous thrillers or interesting co productions are not well made and cannot be considered as great movies. This is a surprising and creepy prelude to such unsatisfied commitments.

This comment is based on a retail copy of the game provided by the publisher.

Good idea, bad implementation.

6/10

Power outage club(PS4)

The game is a good idea and has a good beginning, but the implementation and development of the game seems unable to make the producer decide what route to take. The final result is a chaotic game. It’s a pity that so much hope has been shown.
